  • Saw Star Wars the force awakens tonight. It's been a while since we have been to AMC theaters and ill be honest the only reason we came was for the Imax. Upon arrival there were two people working the ticket counter and even though I pre-purchased my tickets I still had to wait in line for 10 minutes to get to an automated kiosk. Once I got past the ticket counter I came upon the snack area which was in complete disarray and was littered with popcorn, straw wrappers and spilled soda. I also noticed that the entire room was filled with burnt popcorn smoke. While waiting in line I noticed that only about 3 of the employees were assisting customers and I witnessed at least two employees who appeared to be waiting for something else but not actively assisting customers. I initially chucked it up to a busy rush however 2 hours later upon exiting my movie the snack are was still dirty snd the lines are still long. I guess ill be going to palace ultra screen from now on.
