  • This is the best shave ice I've had outside Hawaii. The New-Orleans-style snow texture is so fine that the flavor really fills every bite. Don't be freaked out by the bottles of syrup--we tried coconut and passion fruit flavors, and both were subtle and very tasty. If you're looking for Hawaiian-style shave ice, it won't replace Waiola and you can't get red beans, but a big cup with Thrifty ice cream will hit the spot for sure. I say skip Bahama Buck's and head to this place. We will definitely be back!
