  • I 've had Cox from 5 yrs I started with 30,30,30 plan 30$ for each phone, internet,tv After awhile I want to try the DVR Ive seen advertised so much. They let me try it for free for so many months and offer me a great deal on a movie package. No mention of contract or early termination fee NONE AT ALL. I had a small bill but I knew it would go up after the specials ran out and boy did it but I paid it. I was laid off and and I tried to get rid of the DVR and movie pak and I was told I had an early termination fee and that I couldn't remove some of the services I ordered period. I know Direct tv has hidden fees and Century link does also so I guess it dosent matter who you go with you are going to get screwed.
