  • I have been going to this dentist but haven't been to my regular dentist due to overseas travel since 2014. My entire family goes since we moved here. So I am home and make an appointment to get a cleaning and checkup... The office staff is wonderful HOWEVER they are telling me that I HAVE to get a deep cleaning because it is the LAW. The Law? I just want a normal cleaning. I understand some of my gums are bleeding but she dug the measuring tool so deep in my gums I couldn't believe it! I floss every day and the only time i bleed is between the teeth she filled 2 years ago that food constantly gets caught (that's another story...) I have a cracked filling - OK thank you I didn't know it!!! But as we discussed this in their office --My insurance doesn't cover the entire deep clean and I asked just for a normal cleaning which insurance covers and they told me they couldn't do a normal cleaning as it was "against the law" to provide a lower level of cleaning that they recommend and they could work up a "payment plan" for the deep clean with the front desk -- What!?!?! They stated I would have to come back as well for this "deep cleaning". TIME TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER DENTIST!!!! Any suggestions???
