  • A colleague and I had lunch here recently. We were both confused when the 'sandwich' he ordered off the menu was brought out; the fish was breaded but no sliced bread (explains why I didn't rate it 5 stars. Really it's more like 4.5 stars). Apparently the fish was good though! I'd ordered the smothered pork chops with black eyed peas and coleslaw for sides. To use Guy's terminology, both the chops & the gravy were "On point!". The same could be said for the coleslaw ~ it had a great kick to it! The peas were good, but not outstanding (can you make them outstanding? I'm not so sure.). Will be returning with The Boyfriend to try other options. And have more of that coleslaw.
