Honey Bear BBQ is wet, messy, forget-yer-in-Arizona, hose yourself down with gallons of ice-tea when you're done, fun. The meat is so tender they must be getting it from animals who can't even stand up. The flavor of the sauce is a nice balance but leans a bit heavy on the sweet. But if this surprises you, you've simply forgotten the name of the place.
Try any of the meat, and don't miss the beans. They taste like something went horribly wrong in the pot and someone tried to cover it up with ladle-fulls of honey, and just before throwing the whole mess out, realized "This is pretty damn GOOD!!!
I'll go there every chance I get, but if you don't like sweet messy BBQ stay away.
