  • I've lived in Madison for almost 3 years and have stupidly spent most of that time heading to Brickhouse BBQ whenever the porky craving strikes. No longer! This place is the real deal. I can't speak to the entire menu because I order the same thing every time I'm there: pulled pork sandwich, garlic mashed potatoes, biscuits. The mashed potatoes are stupid good, like, eyes-roll-in-the-back-of-your-head-with-the-first-bite good. They give you a little cup, which is good for me because I could eat a whole barrel of the stuff. BBQ sauce has a bit of a kick, but isn't unbearably spicy. On my last visit, I saw they added mac and cheese to the menu (uuhhhhhh yummmm) but I don't know if I can bear to part with one of my other sides to try it. I'll just have to make my boyfriend order double biscuits instead.
