  • This review is a bit late in coming because we used them at the beginning of the summer and then left the state just a week later. I think moving is the absolute worst but these guys made it almost effortless! We had a 3000 square foot, two story home in North Scottsdale, fully furnished inside and out. I contacted several moving companies and most of them wanted to give me a quote over the phone. Not Poindexter. They scheduled an appointment and a very nice, professional, clean cut guy (Kevin) walked the house and outlined what his company would do. Several of the things we were concerned about (e.g. gun safe, big mirrors, big tv) presented no issues. They had experience with them. He said he would be on the truck to ensure everything went smoothly. There wasn't any comparison to the other companies. We booked them to pack and move us and had to change the date twice due to timing of the house sale. They took that in stride with no issues. The crew showed up ON-TIME on pack day, ready to go with boxes, paper, tape, wraps, etc. and lots of energy and professionalism. We felt completely comfortable having them in the house. I can honestly say I don't think they wasted a minute! The house was packed up and staged for moving the next morning. Again, they showed up ON-TIME and with a bigger crew and a couple of big trucks and the house was empty by early afternoon. We were in our new house by late afternoon! And that included them moving the contents of a storage unit a few miles away. We were with these guys for two days and they were always in a constant state of motion, always communicative and asking for clarification if they needed it. Everything was packed great -- they didn't skimp on supplies. We had no casualties. They were wonderful when it came to putting furniture in place in the new house. They even moved all of our patio plants! The best way I can describe them is to say it is like having family or good friends move you -- except these family and friends know how to pack and move everything without breaking it, don't get tired, and never get mad! Oh, and our moving day was 105 degrees and they were still moving fast at 3PM! Our thanks to Kevin,Caleb, Anthony, Joey, AJ and Lauder. I don't want to move again but if I have to, this is the company I'll call.
