My biggest gripe with this place is that the prices are so far out of whack with what you get.
This is a family owned strip mall restaurant that would be quite a find if the prices were about half of what they are. The food here is pretty good but not the best I've ever had. The place looks and feels like a budget Italian restaurant (plastic tablecloths, paper napkins, cheap furniture, cheesy decor). The portions are pretty small too -- I'm a skinny guy but I was still hungry when I finished eating. And yet, dinner for two (just two pasta entrees + soft drinks) cost north of $40 before the tip. And yes, that's no appetizers, no salads, no deserts, and no exotic ingredients. Just not worth the price they're charging.
