  • Have been a regular here for a variety of body deteriorating reasons: shoulder replacement, shrapnel in gall bladder, MRI & CTs for lower back for a few. Very efficient staff and technicians. When you check in they put together any of the required forms and soon you are called for the procedures. I appreciate the Novant system as they remind you with emails and phone calls about your upcoming appointment. And key is that you are asked to update your information electronically. You go to their link and click through the various categories, like personal data, medications, contact information, etc. THIS saves you having to fill out the same information as they have in their computer system. When you go to other medical clinics or facilities, even when they have the information in their computers, the staff wants you to fill out the forms. I think that is a sign of ignorance &/or laziness. Not so with Novant facilities. Once the data is in, it is in. The technicians are really friendly and courteous. They answer your questions and take the time to tell you about the procedure that they are about to do. So nice. My wife agrees with her experiences here and says that she feels more comfortable after getting the information about what will happen. Once the procedures are completed, the images are very quickly in the hands of the referring doctors. They are read by radiologists at the imaging center first and their written opinion is part of the electronic package going to your treating physician. An excellent system, staffed by friendly, courteous, knowledgeable people who are there to help you.
