  • I'm on a classic Toronto restaurant tour this year, and so Sotto Sotto was a must visit. The last time I came here was probably a decade ago and I remember it fondly, but feeling a little out of place because of the prices. This time round, I'm finding the prices still an issue. The food is good. A solid 8/10 for Italian. But the place is just old and run down now. The service is great, there's no doubt about it. There's a reason why this restaurant has been around for as long as it has. However, when you spend the amount that you do at this restaurant, there are comparatively better options in Toronto now. So while the price made me feel out of place 10 years ago, now the price makes me feel I can get better value elsewhere.
