  • Can't say enough positive things about this vet clinic. I just recently moved to Toronto and had not found a vet for my Bichon mix yet. Unfortunately, he was not feeling well (it ended up being pancreatitis) and I took him into Parkdale Animal Hospital because it was nearby. And to be honest, I'm always apprehensive about having Benny in new situations (I.e. new vet or groomer) because some people underestimate his ability to "act out" because of his size. But the staff there were patient and kind with him (he is a rescue and has anxiety issues, especially with people touching around his head/neck area that he does not know) and even sent me video and pictures of him during his stay (he needed to be there for 3 nights). Dr. Toprak would call me at least once a day to give me updates on how he was doing. And most importantly, he came back home as a healthy and happy dog! I know that no matter where you go - the vet bill is typically the most dreaded part, but it's much easier to let that money go when you know your dog has been treated well and no longer sick. I consider them to be fairly priced on top of everything else.
