  • DO NOT STAY HERE!! LADIES...YOU ARE NOT SAFE at the CHARLOTTE MARRIOTT SOUTHPARK!!!! My room was robbed yesterday...Jewelry, cash and credit card stolen (immediate/numerous fraudulent charges made). I called to speak with hotel General Manager...I was told that I could only speak with the desk manager. I did received call back from facilities director, informing me that they have NO CAMERA SYSTEM or monitoring in the hotel. I have been told they will investigate. These items were taken from a zipper pouch that was in another zipper makeup pouch, located within my purse...that I stored in my suitcase. (They must have spent extensive time looking thru my personal belongings...scary!) I will continue to post warnings, along with the police report details until Marriott does the right thing. When a guest is robbed at YOUR hotel...pick up the phone and at the very least, pretend you care.
