  • As a coach that travels with my team a decent bit, overnight trips can always be a bit exhausting. This hotel was one of the most pleasant stays we've ever had, however! The lobby was gigantic, and we actually met down there after dinner to play some games and watch TV before curfew. The beds were quite comfortable, the bathroom was clean and spacious with lots of hot water, and the rooms had everything you needed if you didn't want to eat breakfast downstairs in the morning. Though honestly, I'm not sure why you'd pass up a breakfast like this: french toast, scones, eggs (that actually looked and tasted like eggs!), waffles, etc. It was by far the best hotel breakfast we've ever had in our travels. Overall, whenever I stay in the UIUC area for competitions, I'll stay here. The proximity to campus without actually being on campus, the ability to park without having to worry about meters, and the Meatheads just across the street are the cherry on top. 5/5!
