  • Came here last week for dinner. Came in through downstairs where we were greeted and the staff radioed upstairs to expect us. Was seated promptly and given instructions about the Forrest Gump licence plate signs for service. Cool touch I must add. More restaurants should implement something similar imho. Flipped the sign to Stop Forrest Stop when ready to order and a server was with us within a minute. Ordered the Shrimper's Net Catch with half garlic and half Cajun. I personally preferred the garlic. I thought the Cajun was too saucy, but thankfully it wasn't too spicy. Also had Forrest's Surf and Turf as my main. It comes with a 9oz tenderloin, shrimp, mashed potatoes, and onions. It was food a plenty for me. The shrimps were my favourite in this meal. The meal wasn't 5 star spectacular, but it was a solid 4 in terms of taste and value. Service is definitely top notch here with a casual atmosphere. Servers are prompt and kept us up to date with the orders. To top it off, depending on what beverage you order, you can also take home a glass or shaker! Overall the food was 4 out of 5, but the service definitely bumps it up for the extra star! Definitely recommended if you want a decent meal in a casual setting with great service!
