  • Reading the good reviews was difficult to square with my experience tonight. We came in and were ushered out because it was at capacity. We came back later when it had thinned out. The bartender/proprietor was obviously dismissive. We sat an inordinately long time before being served. The pour of scotch was shockingly small. We were both made to feel tangibly unwelcome. The bartender had time to have a cigarette outside before returning to the bar, but did not confirm the enquiry about the kitchen. Eventually someone came to ask if we wanted to be served. In short, a bummer experience at a place we had hoped would be a highlight, but proved to be a complete downer. Never again.
