After trying Pizzeria Beddia in Philly, we wanted to check out Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix - the place that started it all. And it did NOT disappoint! I had the margherita pizza with half mushrooms and it was delicious both ways. Thin, crisp crust with excellent "bite". My boyfriend had the Biancoverde - a white pizza with several cheeses and topped with an entire salad of arugula. We were a little surprised by the mountain of greens, but both fully agreed that the flavor addition was ideal to balance out the really pungent, flavorful cheeses. We ate there on Sunday night and had no wait at all. Ordered and had piping hot pies in front of us in - no lie - 7 minutes flat. We weren't hungry for dessert but the server told us to try the flourless chocolate cake. We followed his advice and I almost licked the plate clean. The vanilla cream sauce on the cake was divine. There was no downside to this meal!
