  • Based on other reviews, you'd think this place really sucks, or is a total dump: you'd be wrong (like I was ). It's amazing for the money... I'd even say that it's good! However, to give a nod to the other people, who apparently feel like they need therapy because they stayed here, here's some advice : if you don't believe me, go to the hotel's website. They provide the actual square footage (also in meters), as well as accurate photos of the rooms. This place is modern and CLEAN. All room models are small. It feels very European. This city has more amazing restaurants, museums, and shops than you'll have time to experience: get out of your room! There's a gym. There's a cute gift shop with currency exchange. There are vending machines and ice. There's a restaurant that provides free continental breakfast. Breakfast includes hardboiled eggs, fresh fruit like melon and pineapple, yogurt, fresh pastries (good croissants!), cheese slices, bread (toasters available), cereals, fresh juices, and coffee. The beds are firm, yes... but comfortable. Blankets and pillows are good. Air control works fine. Coffee maker in room on spacious desk (with drawers). Adjustable heater in bathroom is great. Opening window in bathroom is nice to have. Water temperature and pressure are great. Plenty of clean towels and amenities. Location, location, location! Catty corner to grocery store (IGA), which is attached to giant shopping center. Chinatown is at your back, seriously... walk out to your left, then left down street for amazing pastries at Patisserie Harmonie. Or, walk out to your right, then right down the street for the most succulent dumplings you'll ever have the pleasure of tasting at Mai Xian Yuang (sign has smiley face, says DUMPLINGS ). Relax, enjoy your time here, and absorb the city!
