Good first aid / CPR training with a lively instructor. Going into the 2-day course I expected total boredom and a lecture style teaching environment.
Fortunately, the course consisted of videos, hands on practice, role playing with other students, and lively anecdotes from the instructor about her friends and relatives.
"My cousin was riding his motorbike for the first time when . . ."
Creating a sling yourself or being forced to interview a potential spinal trauma victim makes you actively think about the procedure instead of simply memorizing things to pass the test.
Downsides of "Heart 2 Heart":
(1) They make you pay an extra $2 to laminate your card. Why not just give us laminated cards to begin with? The "tacked on" expense comes out of nowhere and just seems like a cash grab. It's not a lot of money, but it's kind of annoying.
(2) The online registration seemed to be useless. We had to register again on the first day.
Overall, my complaints are quite minor and the training seemed good. I would recommend this place to others or go there again myself. * thumbs up *
