  • Car max has a terrible general manager. They sold me a car that literally had a piece FLY off of driving on the freeway. The general manager, Jen, response? " well that happens." I took it to a car dealer to get it looked over and fixed... it had unwarranted parts put on so the " it's still under factory warranty" was a lie.... Carmax REFUSED to give me the report stating what work they've done on it... they are shady, dishonest, scammers. I payed over $700 to get everything fixed .. which was a long list... yes they would have fixed it for free but do I take it to a shady dishonest place and question their work or to a place that does it right and warranties their work. Never again will I buy from Carmax. I'll tell everyone else the same. Shame on you for selling lemon cars and saying "that happens" and refusing information about the work you've done. SHADY..DISHONEST...CROOKED
