People need to visit this one, especially if you have kids. Adventuredome is Located Inside the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. It's on the North end of the strip near where the Stardust Hotel used to be. It use to be called Grand Slam Canyon a long time ago. It opened in 1993 and at that time was owned by Mandalay Resort Group. It is now owned by MGM and is their cash cow.
The theme park is in a giant pink glass dome so weather is not an issue. Though Vegas weather is usually great it gets a little hot in the summer. They do a Fright Dome which starts in October to scare the crap out of you and your kids. When it first opened it really wasn't much, a few rides and was like a dinosaur theme park. Though the dinosaurs would spit on you, that was kool.
Because of the not so great feed back they closed it in April of 1994 and added a midway and more ride and added more rides every year for a while, the also put in an 18 hole Mimi golf course. My favorite ride is the inverter and the Chaos is pretty cool as well.
This place is a lot of fun, the employees are all pretty nice and kids will just love it. Even if you don't have kids, it's fun to come and see.
