I'll admit right off the bat that I'm the type that likes to be informed on the status of my car when it's in the shop. I ask a lot of questions to understand the process, especially when I'm working with a mechanic shop for the first time. I do it simply to ensure I'm working with competent people and to make sure I'm getting the best deal possible, obviously.
Dave (the owner) was communicative, diligent and thorough - he spent the time to explain each and every step, walked me into the garage to show me what they were doing to my car, and provided me a plethora of printed material that documented all the diagnostics tests that were completed. His front desk staff seeks information diligently and knows the right questions to ask to ensure the pass-off to the mechanics goes smoothly and the problem is diagnosed as quickly as possible. Three separate people had to sign off that my car was good to go before it was allowed to leave the shop. I'm happily impressed, and if it's not obvious already, recommend the shop.
