I was disappointed with Wish Nails. I purchased a Groupon for one shellac manicure because I'd been wanting to try it and figured this would be a good place to try. I didn't have problems booking the appointment like other reviewers but I went at 7:15pm on a Wednesday. The manicurist/owner started filing my nails and shortly after someone else came in who was a regular. I felt like the owner rushed through my appointment and was somewhat distracted talking to her regular client while doing my nails. There was also no cuticle soak, hand/arm massage or scrub included like most manicures I've had. After I got home and looked at my manicure up close, I saw how bad it was. Uneven paint job, missing clear coat on the sides of my nail bed, etc. I feel like I could have done a better job at home. Her website claims that it is a premier salon with elegant manicures but my manicure looks amateurish. The only thing I like about the manicure is the color I picked out. Since I was disappointed, I called the owner and asked if I could come in for her to fix my nails. She seemed surprised that I wasn't happy but added another coat of color and top coat and did a better job this time. However, I'm not planning to return anytime soon.
