  • Outrageous pricing. I have a brand new water softener that has every piece and part imaginable with it. Brand new home and a 1" loop already done. Hook up my water softener? Thought that'd be a cinch for a plumber. Researched and called BF. office staff was very nice and friendly so it started off well until I heard about $49-$69 to come check out what needed to be done. I regrettably agreed. They came on time (another win) and after "calling his manager" after looking at my system said it's an atypical softener because they need to pour the resin first. Ok. Not a big deal. Plumber (friendly guy) got off the phone and told me it would be $887 to install. I was floored. My last system was $800 (similar setup) for the actual softener/tank etc WITH install! Needless to say, more options will be explored. Please if you use this team get more than one bid. Their professionalism and friendliness are top notch but wow... I'd like to be able to make my mortgage payment. :)
