  • I could not be more excited for a new restaurant to open near my home. This has all the makings of a great place, there is just a problem with the execution. We had planned to try out Bettys for the 1st time for my friends 40th birthday. I called and made a reservation for 10. Well, imagine my dismay when we arrived early and their was a sign on the door they are closed for the night! WHAT!?!?! I had given them my phone number for the reservation, they couldn't call me before I arrived there with 9 friends for a birthday party!?! Not good. But, I was willing to give this place another try. We went for dinner with 8 people. We where sat immediatly at a high top table for 8. They table set up is cool because there are 2 chairs on every side of the table, so it allows couples to sit next to each other, and everyone to be involoved in the conversation. The decor is cute and hip. Now, to the service. Not good. We waited 15 mins to recieve our drinks we ordered (it was not busy) our waiter was impossible to get. Overall, poor service. I had the angus burger, and I have to say it was good. It was cooked to the perfect temperature. The shining gem at this place is the mushroom bar, boy are they yummy! I could have ate 10! Overall, it's ok. There are so many better options in the arrowhead area that have WAY better service.
