  • Movin' Shoes is that good. 5 *'s, no question! MS has been around for more than 40 years! The staff is fantastic, made up of actual, local runners (many of whom I've found actually run to and from work!). They'll fit you for shoes, based on metrics, like pronation, and help you stay within your budget too. I've scraped through 3 pairs of shoes in 6 years and have never been disappointed in the slightest! If I was...they would take shoe returns within something like 7 or 10 days. Yep...shoe returns! And, MS will even let you try your shoes on before you buy them...EVEN run around outside a bit or around the block. An in-house treadmill is also available to use and test shoes. I tried messaging their Facebook page after a cheap ($10) clip-on running light burned out after less than an hour of use, which was supposed to last at least 10-15 hours. The account administrator responded to me within 30 minutes and we discussed replacement options. So, one night, I decided to run across the Isthmus and Lake Monona/Bay's shore and stop in. Yes...I ran there. Don't be hating! The light was a velcro strap light for an arm or leg, and it's been fantastic! I've had it for a few weeks and it is still working well. Their equipment is top notch, email list is fun, and they even have a running group (but I don't take part). If you're looking for running gear, get in step, lace em' up, and get movin' over to South Park Street!!!
