  • I should of known better and frankly I DID KNOW BETTER . However my son desperately needed his hair cut. I just wanted it buzzed on the sides and a small scissor cut on the top. The lady who was doing his hair saw the photos and was super duper friendly UNTIL he got seated in the chair. My son is four years old and actually behaves really well while getting his haircut so he wasn't a problem. The lady cutting his hair was though. She clearly was trying to do a BOWL cut on my sons THICK CURLY MANE. He is half Ethiopian and has really thick curls that are poofy so if his hair is cut the wrong way it just goes all bad and with his blonde undertones if its a complete buzz cut he looks bald so I have a hard time making myself go get it cut but hes a smelly boy and hates having it washed so alas I waited till the WRONG moment and had this chick cut his hair and boy oh boy was I in for a surprise when I decided to let her know it didn't appear like it was turning out as I wanted it to she said and I quote "YOU NEED TO GO SIT BACK DOWN, I HAVE SEEN THE PHOTO and I can't do my job if you're here showing me a photo I have already seen" Now I can't tell you the last time someone has spoken to me in such a rude manner and actually not had me just "storm out" or speak with a manager but I was at this chicks mercy because my son was in the one chair and my daughter was in the other. Childrens haircuts most places are a standrad $10 and I usually tip another 10$ so it is not a issue of money but I will say I decided to be mature on this day because you know what I did? I sat back down. Mainly because I didn't want to upset my children but my son did tell the chick "you upset my Mommy" . Which is super true and frankly I would expect better from someone who is in her late forties. She must of been cutting hair for awhile and she had no need to be so rude but I ended up not tipping her anything or even finding out her name. My son's hair came out ok but its much longer than I wanted and uneven . He could careless and my Mom is happy that he is not rocking the POOF Fro but if you can help it STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I am sure if you're smart enough to read yelp you're smart enough not to go here for a haircut but if it could happen to me it could happen to you where you just decided why not try? TRUST ME.. DONT DO IT!
