My soon to be wife tricked me in to coming here and looking at dogs and I had no intentions on walking out with a dog but I ended up with a pit bull that I knew nothing about, but ended up being one of the best mistakes I've ever made. What I noticed at this shelter was the animals were very well taken care of, cages were clean and dogs were let out for walks, staff loved on the animals. What I didn't like was some dogs up for adoption that showed aggressive behavior,if you're not educated with dogs and bring one home without knowing how to handle the problem you could have a major problem on your hands. So do your homework.I really think each dog should have to be put through some kind of training program with a graduation certificate before being adopted.
