  • Our new favorite place for Thai! We currently have a couple favorites in the city but I love that this one is close to home. The location itself is small and in a strip mall on Babcock Blvd. Typically when I think of a restaurant in a strip mall I don't consider it to be anything fancy. Red orchid did a great job making their restaurant feel elegant. I personally loved the table runners and fresh flowers. The food was delicious! I loved that they offered a variety of options and that curry fried rice was one of them! We ordered crab rangoons and my husband said that they are his new favorite in the city. He liked the mixture of sweet and a little bit of spicy. They use a spice scale of 1-10. I traditionally order a 6 but it was a little too spicy for me. Delicious but spicy! We'll definitely be back and we'll take advantage of the BYOB option.
