Honestly this is the cutest little bakery shop that displays oh so yummy goodness in a very non pretentious way. So yes they are pricey but I'm sure it's b/c their rent must be high being on prime location on Queen W.
It's tiny with a few stools by the window so you can drink, eat and people watch. Otherwise it's more of a take it and go kinda place.
They have the cronut here but I really don't have a sweet tooth so I just got 1/2 dozen macarons which were pricey at about $16 incl tax. Other pastry shops in the area are about the same price so they aren't too out of line.
Service was lovely as there was only one person manning the station and while not super busy it still had a steady stream of customers while I was there.
This place really just screams lush. That perfect place to get a nice cup of coffee and pastry when it's freezing cold outside...but alas not enough room
The macarons that I got were a variety (lavender, caramel sea salt, pistachio, etc) and while lovely they still can't compete with my fave place in Paris. But a good solid effort. They come in a cute little box that makes them the perfect gift....for yourself :)
