PROS: Seems authentic, reasonable prices
CONS: Didn't like my dish, cash-only, super slow service
I'm a big fan of Thai curries and noodles. One of my favorite noodle dishes is the Pad See Ew (a stir-fried rice noodle dish with sweet soy sauce, eggs, and vegetables), which I have ordered at countless Thai restaurants across the nation. The Pad See Ew at Sala Thai was not up to par --- In fact, it was below average. The same dish is so much better/tastier at Monsoon Siam and/or Ha Long Bay. The service was also incredibly slow, even though when we arrived everyone else in the restaurant had already gotten their food but it still took ages to order and receive our dishes. Despite hearing great things about Sala Thai, I left disappointed.
