I was SO hoping to love this place; we used to go to Sushi Eye in Motion in Chandler before it closed down and loved THAT one. But this place just didn't impress us on all fronts. The regular California rolls were delicious, and our child liked the shrimp tempura. But the specialty rolls were too oily (the deep fried ones -- maybe the oil was not hot enough?) or fishy. I always get turned off by a sushi place that has fish that actually smells fishy because it's supposed to be very neutral if it's fresh. It was kind of dark inside. Service was quick and the server was nice & polite, but I don't think we'll be back.
