  • Most horrible experience I have ever had with a car rental. The check engine light started flashing within the first 5 mins I drove out of the rental service, how can a car company like Budget not perform the basic checks before renting the car???? I had the car for 3 days and when I returned it, the guy checking the car told me that I had driven only 45 miles and he needs a receipt for the gas I have filled up if the car was driven less than 75 miles else they will charge 15$ for gas!! I had no idea these rules existed....thanks Budget! for letting me know about these news rules. I am never going to rent from this place ever again. I already have to deal with hangovers and losses after partying and Gambling in Vegas :), so I don't have time for this crap at a car rental while I am in a hurry to catch my flight back home after a couple of hours sleep.
