  • Coming to Wynn's The Buffet focus should be the quality in the details, not quantity (even it is a buffet). I visited at dinner and at breakfast. Atmosphere: The buffet is not huge but it consists of all regular Vegas buffet menu. I enjoyed the relaxing environment even the long line is consistent at the cashier. There is no rush or eager to get your piece of meat or seafood. Pros: Dinner (only naming the noteworthy here): The lamb curry and lamb steak are both tasty. The cha sui (BBQ pork) is juicy and almost authentic. The ordinary chicken noodle soup is made with care. The broth is clear and not oily. I can taste the chicken and eat all the ingredients. Normally, I will only drink some of the soup and discard all the mushy or tasteless ingredients. $19 Endless Pours is a good deal IMO. Pros: -Breakfast (only naming the noteworthy here): -Egg station has a long line as usual at all breakfast/brunch places. The cook makes a perfect fried egg with tall egg white around. It is worth the wait. -Thick ham slice with Dijon mustard is a perfect marriage. It was not too salty and it is moist at the same time. -Kudos to Wynn's No Sugar Added Dessert Station at all meals. These desserts are so yummy without the added sugar. It is naturally good. Cons: -Dinner: The crepes station staff was not too friendly. The crepes filling is too cold to pair and to eat with the hot crepes. That was a waste of food and time. -Dinner: -Breakfast & Dinner: The salad station is on the weaker side. The fruit selections are very lacking but all things taste good here. -Dinner: Lobster Bisque tasted fishy; not good eat. -Breakfast: Chinese Congee is available at a serving station. The congee base is good, authentic and plain (on purpose). Upon request, the server will put together a bowl for your liking. However, congee and the sides combination is a very personal thing. I find it difficult to ask what and how I like to put the congee together. So, it is best to make this a self-serve station IMO. Good attempt. -Breakfast: The two pancakes we ordered to cook at the rotation grill are uncooked on the inside. That was a waste of time. Note: Congee condiment includes century eggs, Chinese pickle, cilantro, green onion, fried onion, Chinese donut pieces, etc. Service rating is difficult to rate in Vegas. It depends on the time and week of the day, and how busy. (In theory, it should be consistent but in reality is rare.) I understand the servers tried their best day in day out to serve people from around the globe. Smile and good eye contact are lacking most of the time but they get the job done most of the time.
