  • First time going to the OOAKS and it was great. I went on Easter Sunday which ended up being the best day as the vendors were saying how Good Friday and Saturday were super busy and packed. I liked having the space to be able to wander around and look without having to seemingly push your way through to just see what's at the booth. Some vendors were also having 'end of show' sales so it was kind of an extra perk! Parking was also free because of the stat holiday which was awesome! Look for street parking and remember you don't have to pay. Also was told of the DeSerres promo code and got $5 off entry! Double bonus. I was interested to see what trends were happening and to speak with vendors from the East and West coasts of Canada! We have such talented folks all around. So many tasty treats to try as well. I was happy to sample the adult beverages offered strategically in the middle of the floor.. I bought a wonderful cocktail mix from Split Tree Cocktail Co. which was featured on Dragon's Den (the demo guy at the booth was amazing btw!) and a few other items. I will definitely be attending again.
