Bottom line, the cashiers in the cage and their management (Marnie and Janet) do not value locals and regardless of how much money one might spend at the restaurants and theaters, it doesn't matter if you don't gamble. There is no benefit to being a Station Casino card holder. I wasn't allowed to cash a check because they had no record of me ever having cashed a check. When I told Marnie and Janet that I had in fact cashed a check in December, they implied I was either lying or mistaken because they had the nerve to suggest it was probably a different Casino I went to. Yes, because I am that much of an idiot to get big hotels with distinctive lights and general thematic aesthetics all mixed up. The funny part? I went in the next day and asked about check cashing policies and a different manager and cashier (Leila and Jackie) told me they would have, more than likely, just cashed it because the check wasn't over the limit and that it was from a well known blank. Janet and Marnie simply did not want to help me for whatever reason. I worked in hospitality (front desk) for two years and I can assure you that Marnie and Janet were so far removed from guest service standards that it was genuinely jarring. I've reached out to corporate and I will post any updates. Judging by the lack of response from GVR on this website, I doubt it will yield anything.
