| - Taking a tour from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon with my son after his final exam was fun for us.
I have been to the South years ago with me friends, but this trip is on the West and so much closer (only a bit over 2 hours' drive).
The Van : Air conditioning with 10 very roomy comfortable seats ( one with the driver , 3rows of 2 seats +1), using the back door as entrance and exit , it is a bit low but if you are paying attention then it is ok .( I am 5'6 my boy is 6"). Morning supplies to us with Orange juice and Danish (bring your coffee).
Driver / tour guide : Gerry was our guide ( the one with funny hair :), he is surprising me by providing so much Geography on the lands we are passing by, a very friendly and helpful caring Guide ( always checking on all of us for H2O supplies ) , after all we are in his hand in the Indian land , Taking photos for us , guiding the best views, trying to easy of your fear of height ( that me and others ). On this trip, he is taking breaks for bathroom stops, photos stops, the Dam stop! (Hoover Dam)
The views: Still amazing as the first time I visit, for my boy the first time always breath taking, with eagle figure spread it's wing on the distance... the skywalk that my son went through is was alright ( I did not go because the height ). We also had a short hike along the rim all the way up top to get 360 views of this land, it was a hot and dry day for us, but we were but having a good time before lunch proving by the trip.
The trip was great; we may not visit again in the near future, but for you taking this trip at least one in your life time to see the nature wonder in your own eyes. !
