Just recently relocated to Morgantown, WV. Starting up a tiny 10 gallons tank first before jumping back into a bigger setup. Since there is no good aquarium shops around where I live, Morgantown. I drove 80 miles to Wet Pets to pick up a few ranchus. There 3 ranchus left in the tank at Wet pets. I am new with ranchu but I should have known better by doing my own homework on it. I wanted the red cap and white body one and Wet Pets has one left even though it didn't seem to be swimming very well. I asked the salesperson is it normal for it to just floating around and not swimming. He told me that is normal and I took his words for it. I brought that floating around one because I wanted that color and a gold one. Brought 2 tiny regular gold fishes also because they were so cute and chubby. By the time I got back to my place, 80+ miles away, the floating one is really just floating. Not dead yet but I believe he won't be alive for too long. Never again will I shop at this place especially after I drove 80+ miles and I asked about the condition of the fish. He should have told me the truth.
