  • I first want to state that I take careful consideration and a lot of thought into my reviews and businesses recommendations. Originally what brought me to El Bella were pictures I had seen in a local Facebook group with nail art done by Chloe. Her work looked fantastic! I saw several great reviews about Chloe. When I made my 1st appointment I found out that Chloe no longer worked here. I still decided to give El Bella a chance since this location is closer to home than my usual nail salon. I originally thought this could be my new spot. The location is great, clean, pretty looking, more of a salon environment than a random nail salon, and they cost a little less than my usual spot. I work in a community really close to the salon so I encouraged others to try El Bella for manicures and pedicures too. It takes one horrible experience to change everything and my last visit was a huge disappoint. The girl who did my gel manicure and pedicure was not friendly at all. She didn't say much and looked like she hates her job. When I told her what I wanted painted she made it clear she didn't like my taste. Customer service is key...she didn't offer water (as they've done on all my visits prior), she got lotion on my diamond wedding ring ans jist the overall experience was just negative. I showed a picture of a design I wanted with peacock feathers (picture attached ). The design looked more like fish eggs to me. I felt bad saying anything but I figured if I'm spending $60 I should say something. So I politely told the lady when I was checking out, who may be a manager, that I didn't like the design. I had to run to work so I asked if I could come in the next day to get it fixed and maybe do a design that's easier since maybe this was just difficult for her to do. When I can in the next day, the same girl "fixed" the nail design. She was clearly p*. I showed her a couple pictures of other designs and asked her several times what would be easier for her. She had nothing to say. She was rough on removing the nail design ( gel nails) quickly threw on some glitter , which I asked for a design, but she basically just sent me on my way as soon as possible. I quickly found out after this visit that 4 other people I've referred to El Bella did not have a pleasant experience or did not like the work. I felt horrible referring them! Needless to say, I will not be back nor will I refer anyone to this salon. The only reason I gave 2 stars not 1 is because my previous visits were not horrible and that I like the decor, nail color options and location of the salon. Though when I'm spending easily $50-$80 on each visit I'd rather drive further where I know I'm getting treated better and getting much better results.
