I've only recently begun getting my eyebrows waxed. It was only after I got my eyes professionally made up and that the beauty person mentioned I might be over plucking in some regions. The thought of spending 20 bucks a month on wax still kills me but what can a girl do?
I do have a person I've been going to for months but around the holidays she was out of town and I was feeling like Frida Kahlo. Benefit's eyebrow bar appeared in my Facebook feed and I was intrigues so I checked it out online. I liked that they have extensive hours; no more rushing to the salon after work!
I made an appointment in person because I thought they took walk-ins but alas there was no availability that day. I showed up for my appointment and had to wait a while for the beauty person. Jenny showed up and got right to it though! She was very cheerful and asked what I wanted. I told her I was placing myself in her hands. Overall she did a good job.
The one thing I would say is that you are waxed out I public. Like at their beauty counter. Luckily it was a lazy Sunday and no one was around but I don't know how I would feel getting waxed when it was busy. What I did love, however, was that since I was already at the Benefit counter and Jenny had spent some time on my face, I felt she would be able to recommend some good beauty products. She helped me find some awesome sauce foundation!
