This is quite possibly the most flavorful sushi I've ever had. A lot of restaurants either skimp out on the ingredients or don't do a good enough job seasoning the ingredients. I think sushi rolls should taste great even without soy sauce/wasabi. It should just be an amplifier. I was very very impressed with all three rolls I had- H3 roll, caterpillar roll, and spider roll (in order of amazing to slightly less amazing). The H3 was particularly a favorite because it contained spicy tuna and it was actually spicy! We also ordered the shrimp tempura and it was perfect. Best tempura I've had. It came out smoking hot and just melted in your mouth. Something I thought was very interesting was that they use purple rice (possibly for decorative purposes) but i loved it. It really brought back memories of my childhood- I haven't eaten purple rice in over 15 years.
The only thing i didn't like so much was that the rolls kept falling apart, especially the caterpillar roll. My poor boyfriend broke a million and was struggling to get the sushi rolls into his mouth while me, I'm a chopstick master and still broke two pieces. Two!
