  • Phoenix Children's Center has some phenomenal physicians. Dr. Lednicky is my family's all time favorite. We have been going to PCC for the better part of the past five years, with four young children. It has been our experience that the billing is questionable at best. We are a privately insured family who has accrued a ridiculous balance to date. My wife and I both have called to address the charges but, I personally have never received a call back. An example of this less than ethical practice of charges is. I bring my child in for their well check (no cost) and the doctor says, "seems like she's a bit congested?" Our response, "yes, but we are treating it and she is fine." Then we check out and we are being charged because the appointment is no longer considered a well check. That is tasteless in my opinion. No prescription, no treatment for said congestion, but a charge nonetheless. As I mentioned before we are a family of six with four young children. We pay for our own insurance and copay's, so this is just so frustrating.
