  • So disappointed. Been our go to for authentic NY pizza and meatball sandwich for a long time (fiancĂ© is from NY so is a must that we order the best) but since we just learned about new owners when we called in our order we questioned the guy on the phone about changes to the food. He assured us it's the same. No. No it's not. They get 2 stars because the positive is that I didn't have to cook and they delivered. Meatball parm was not toasted and pretty dry (no sauce). Meatballs were different and delivered in styrofoam. Prior to ownership change the sandwich had good amt of sauce, toasted and wrapped in the paper lined foil. I always have a small pie with olive oil instead of red sauce, pepperoni, black olives and extra cheese. The crust is normally thin, as authentic NY should be. Not anymore. It was thick, like frozen crust, can't be sure there was olive oil, cheese is not the same quality as before and let's not forget that it was cold. They used to be so much better than Rocco's but now they both are terrible and there is no good place to get authentic NY pizza that we're aware of. Apparently it was one of the cooks that bought the place. He's clearly gone cheap. Sorry Sabatino's....we were regulars. We won't be back.
