  • The new owners have really revamped this place. I got to meet with the new manager Jason, and he's been telling me how challenging it has been to restore business after the bad press the previous owner had. So the first thing you notice when you walk in is that there are totally new faces here. Many of the old staff have been replaced. The bartenders are very down to earth, and are quick to start up a conversation with a new patron. When i was there I noticed about 20 people at 6pm, when happy hour started, and they seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere. I have to admit, after reading the other reviews (I'm thinking from the old ownership) I was hesitant to use my card to pay, but I rarely carry cash, so I went ahead and used it, as I was assured by Jason (he walks around and talk to patrons) that the new management team is strictly auditing transactions to ensure there are no shenanigans. I did check my credit statement today, and I'm happy to report that the amount I paid & tipped was correctly charged. I'm not so sure how wise it was to keep the same name, after the new owners bought it out, but I guess it's hard to rebrand a name as big as theirs when it's been around for over 20 years.
