  • Excellent food served excellently. The decor is definitely old-school steakhouse, but that doesn't matter when you have one of the dishes placed before you. The crabcake appetizer is creamy and nicely sauced, the gnocchi and lobster appetizer is heaven. I've had nearly all of the entrees there over the years, and I've never been disappointed. The consistency in the food is also admirable. The Carlton is known for its great wines (and the servers are well-versed in them). All in all, it's a very nice special-occasion restaurant.
