  • 2 years ago, on our way back from the White Mountains, my trans lights came on. stopped in Payson at a trans shop to have it checked. The guys there replaced the fluid, but were too busy to do any work on it for at least a week. The only rental car shop in town was out of rentals... So we decided to take our chances and drive back home to FH. That week I took it to Aamco, they had it for 4 days, trans rebuilt. worked great for 7 months, then the torque converter/front pump started squealing. Took it back to Aamco, they did the repairs under warranty. No issues since.
