| - I cannot describe in words how impressed I have been with Jeffrey and AZ-Tech Home Inspections. I have now used this company on more than one occasion and have been so very pleased with his ability to work with my scheduling, his pricing, and most importantly his thoroughness! I am a super type-A personality and I've had bad experiences with lesser inspectors previously so I was naturally suspicious of a new person I must rely so heavily on without evidence I could trust him. When I asked my Realtor for her most detailed home inspector she said to call Jeffrey and described "his experience and reports are phenomenal!!!" and she was so right. He is the best! I did a complete 180 turn in the first few minutes. Turns out he is not just a top-notch inspector, he's an overall great guy with genuine interest in helping me be satisfied with my house decision.
Buying a house is such a big decision and I wanted to make sure I learned everything I could about the house and so I explained when I called him that I'm very Type-A, very detailed and I will have a ton of questions. He didn't even flinch and agreed right away to have me there. This immediately told me he is a very experienced professional with nothing to hide and he wasn't planning to cut corners if he was willing to let me shadow him during the inspection.
The first time I used his service, he checked everything, even things I never would have thought to check--he even tested to make sure the countertops were secure and went over every inch of the house. He answered ALL of my questions. Turns out the first house I wanted was a ticking time-bomb of major repairs that the seller tried to hide and cover with all new carpet, flooring, add-ons and new appliances, but Jeffrey was so amazing he found a long list of problems and helped me avoid what would have been the most COSTLY MISTAKE of my life. (After reading the home inspection report, the seller practically begged me to buy the house just to take it off their hands). I am SO GRATEFUL that he found the hidden foundation issues, among many other things just waiting to go wrong. I can't thank him enough for his honesty, integrity and for being on MY side!
The second time I used him was on a house I really liked in a different part of town. He pointed out even the simple things like a door hinge that was a little loose and a toilet that took too long to fill up after flushing. These items still "function as intended" (which is where most inspectors would stop) but they weren't perfect so he pointed it out to me and included it on his report. His extensive reports are very detailed and include color photos and little arrows indicating what he saw. He went up into the attic which was hotter than our 120 degree (outside) temps to make sure he checked the A/C properly--and he found a tiny leak that was putting cold air into the attic not the house. He flagged and photographed that too.
As I started with on my review, I can't say enough great things about his service. I will us AZ-Tech Home Inspections for as long as he is in business. This world needs more people and more professionals like Jeffrey. I would rely on his opinion in a heartbeat. If I can give you one piece of advice, it would be to call him for your inspections. It's the best investment you can make in deciding to buy a house or not.
Jeffrey, if you read this: Thank you SO MUCH for everything you did for me and my family. You are a life-saver! I won't publish my number here, but you can certainly use me as a reference for any client wanting to ask about your service!
