  • I have never worked with a more unprofessional company as this. I am still in the midst of my nightmare that started on December 27th. * Didn't come when they said they would. * When they did show up it was late at night and took them until after midnight to load my apartment. If a young man (that is actually much nicer description than what I would like to put) named WILL comes to pick up your items... shake his hand and kick him BACK OUT OF YOUR HOUSE! He is the worst person I have ever met. I was mad because they were late, he said "I can just call the office and tell them you are a b*#$% and not do this at all"... he said this to me because I said there was a noise ordinance and they would have to stop at 10 p.m. He said then I will have to push you back (AGAIN) 2 MORE DAYS...I said I couldn't do that because I had to be in California the next day... that is when he made his statement. * They say they will take your bed apart and any other furniture that needs taken apart, then put it back together... THEY TORE my bed apart. Literally. Tore screws through and through... if the screw wouldn't come through they broke the wood apart. It is not repairable. * There are shoe prints where "someone" STOMPED on my boxspring and busted it. * My surround sound system is completely broken up. The 2 standing speakers were in pieces, the 2 metal stands that hold other speakers were bent in half and the wires tore out of the piping, and miraculously the chip that is in my main system is gone...just gone... you have to unscrew things to get to this. * I asked Will if he needed me for anything while they were loading. At 9:30 I left because I had to get up the next day and drive the 12 hour drive alone. He said nope he was good. He then FRAUDULANTLY made up documents that said he told me before he started loading that it was going to be nearly double what I was originally quoted. He then had my daughter sign it. When she questioned the 6:30 time slot he had put on the sheet he LIED to her and said oh, that is when we arrived. * I was told that I basically was being charged for a 15' truck full. I didn't believe that I had that much stuff. I know I had 32 totes because I purchased them for the move and still had the receipts. Will put on his inventory that I had 49 totes. Then he said that they had to fill 5 large boxes with misc. stuff that I hadn't packed... those boxes were filled with BROKEN TOTES. When I say broken...I really want to be clear about how broken. THEY WERE IN PIECES, LITTLE PIECES. When the truck arrived to drop off my items it was a 15' truck, that was just over half full. I took pictures of how full it was. I have a lot of great pictures from this episode. I wish I would have taken a picture of Will. * They do hold your stuff hostage until you agree with whatever they want to charge you. With nothing but excuse excuse excuse lie lie lie. * Their office team is about as competent as Will. Maybe a little better... at first...but when you start calling them on their lies, then they just all together ignore you or give you false hope and promises. * I was told that delivery would be 2-5 days... It was 14 days later that I got my stuff. My broken stuff. The driver stated that they had been broken into so he didn't have any tools...so he wouldn't be able to help me put anything together. No. Seriously. The hardware for my kitchen table was missing. I am only telling you about the large items that are broken because I am sure that many have stopped reading by now. ****for one of the earlier comments... their insurance is CSI. www.csipros.org phone number 877.274.0074 You have to have your job number from your sheet... and they don't pay the value of anything but 60 cents per pound. If they pay... this is the stage I am in right now so I can't tell you they pay, but that is what they say they will pay.**** All in all the worst experience of my life. I will never use movers again. I would not trust Coastal Moving Group with shipping a box of air at this point in time. That was my broker. Had they told me that they were assigning my movers to be Executive Moving Group and I had read these comments I would have stopped it right then... Don't just walk away from either company. Run. Seriously.
