  • BEWARE: DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. As we all know, a cake is the most important thing of a birthda, this was no exception. I ordered a cake from this place for an event at a club last Friday. I reasonably talked to the owner Carolyn for the order and she charged $350 for it and I said ok as long as its delivered. Well charge was made on my card and she texted me the day of telling me that if she delivers after 5pm she will have to charge $75 extra. I said "cake has been charged already and extra delivery fee was not on my budget and that was all I could pay for it. The club only had a window of 4-5pm or after 8pm to receive deliveries. She did not say anything and there was no problem and it would be delivered. Well, when servers look for cake at club it was no where to be found. Manager said there was no delivery. The birthday person was very upset since there was supposed to be a presentation of cake on stage for birthday and candle blowing. I texted Carolyn saying "I have no cake, please refund it" and asking what happened? She decided to email me on Saturday instead of calling me to let me know what happened. On her email she says that since I said delivery was not in my budget she assumed that I was going to pick up. For a business this is a horrible thing to do. She could have told me I must pick it up. She could have delivered and made money still or charge the delivery and at least I would have had the cake. She had many options to make the client happy and she decided to keep he cake at the store, not let me know, and charge $350 plus tax to my card. HORRIBLE business ethics. Very upset and in shock of someone able to to this and still be in business. Do not buy anything at this place. Do not. Trust his business.
