Andrea came highly recommended so I made an appointment for my husband. I told her that he had a job interview the next day and he needed to look nice. She set it for the last one of the day. So when the time came we showed up. About three minutes later when nobody came out to check us in we called "Hello?" and a man came out. He didn't know where she was but he did try to call her for us. She didn't answer. There was No note, no one that worked there knew where she went.
So we left, got back home later in the evening and I checked the messages. She sent me a message earlier in the day saying that she forgot she had booked someone else at 5 and couldn't keep our appointment.(Is she the only hairdresser ever to not have an appointment book?) Then she sends another message an hour later saying "Let me know if you get this." Well obviously, i didn't get it. i don't sit around by my computer waiting for messages from hairdressers. When she didn't hear from me, she should have left word at her business. That was extremely unprofessional.
A later message, when trying to apologize, said that she had to pick up her dog at 5, so she had to leave. And the last message said that she had an emergency with her dog. I get it, I have dogs. Things happen. Pick up the dog and come back, all would be good. We would have waited. She knew how important it was to keep this appointment. But she blew us off. Since she left us hanging at the end of the day, we couldn't get anyone else to cut his hair. I really hope the interviewer doesn't judge him harshly because of his long hair. We'll see.
